In our new segment, Give This Person A Hurl, here’s an ice hockey player showing some hurling potential.

They Gave Them A Hurl
In our other segment, They Gave Them A Hurl, here’s the Notre Dame American football team trying hurling in Ireland.
Also, the US Olympic field hockey team tried camogie for the first time in Charlotte, North Carolina.
2023 USGAA Finals
In Colorado, Denver hosted the biggest ever USGAA Finals. 1,800 players from 120 teams competed this year.

National Hurling Reserve Cup
In Illinois, The National Hurling Reserve Cup was held in Chicago’s Gaelic Park for teams who couldn’t compete in the USGAA Finals. And the Hurling Club of Madison took home the Junior Reserve Cup.
Hurling at Iowa Irish Fest
In Iowa, the Kansas City (KCGAC) Hurling Club spoke at the Iowa Irish Fest to promote hurling. There’s currently no hurling club in Iowa so the Kansas City hurling club is helping to grow the game in the state of Iowa.
