GAA World Games
For the past 6 months, I’ve been working with Darmstadt GAA and Croke Park to put on a Hurling vs Lacrosse match at the GAA World Games. After the success of our demo match in Los Angeles in November 2018, we’ve been modifying the rules based on what we learned that day.

The GAA World Games runs from July 29th until August 1st 2019. There will be 60 teams (1000 players from 6 continents) from across the world competing in Waterford, with the finals in Dublin. Can’t make it to Waterford this summer? There will be International media coverage by RTE, SKY & GAAGo live!

2) Thomas Meagher Hurling Club in Montana who took over the Play Hurling social media accounts for St. Patrick’s Weekend, who live-streamed their St. Patrick’s Day parade and also their match.

APRIL CLUB OF THE MONTH
April’s club of the month went to Atlanta Camogie who took over the Play Hurling social media accounts in April. During their takeover week, they shared some incredible videos and behind the scenes of their preparation for the COVA Cup in Coastal Virginia.

A MASSIVE thank you to the 3 clubs that participated in the club takeover in March and April!
