#HURLINGNEARME UPDATE
The #HurlingNearMe hurley has travelled a total of 4,353 miles since the beginning of its journey last September at the USGAA Finals!
Over the past few months, it’s travelled from the Reynolds Hurling HQ in Belfast, to Philadelphia Hurling and Camogie Club, to Hartford GAA, and to UConn Hurling Team.
And the journey continued in Chapel Hill this morning, when UNC Irish Sports passed the hurl to Raleigh GAA.

CHARLOTTE HURLING
Charlotte celebrated one year of organized hurling with a Hurl-i-versary.
“One year ago, we started a rec league for hurling. Had about 20 folks come out and play in Feb and March. Through the summer, we had weekly poc arounds, and a couple of skills and drills practices. We had another rec league this fall that went even better. Then, we put together a team, and travelled to the Tampa GAA tournament in January.”
