2023 West Coast Sevens
In California, the iconic West Coast Sevens Tournament was hosted by San Diego GAA during Memorial Day weekend. We were delighted to have a pop-up shop at the tournament. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stall!
350+ athletes competed in this seven-a-side hurling tournament and St. Peter’s San Diego had a double win in Senior Hurling and Junior C Hurling.
Montreal May Tournament
In Quebec, Montreal Shamrocks GAC hosted teams from all over Canada and the US for their annual Montreal May Tournament. Toronto’s Na Piarsaigh won in the camogie, and Ottawa’s Éire Óg won in the hurling.
Montana McEneaney Cup
In Montana, teams from all over the Pacific Northwest competed in the 2023 McEneaney Cup in Missoula. Thomas Meagher took home the Cup.

Victoria Highland Games
In BC, Van Isle Rovers hosted 43 teams from 9 clubs across Canada and the USA at the University of Victoria for the 160th Victoria Highland Games and Celtic Festival. Cú Chulainn Vancouver won in both the hurling and camogie finals.
Chicago Spring Hurling Tournament
In Chicago, Michael Cusack’s hosted the Spring Hurling Tournament on May 20th. Naperville, Madison, Indianapolis, and Michael Cusack’s competed at Chicago’s Gaelic Park. Chicago’s Michael Cusack’s took the win against Madison in the final.

This May, there are two clubs of the month:
Greenville Gaels
First up, Greenville Gaels who provided coverage of the Greenville Cup and Paul McCorry Memorial Youth Cup on our social media accounts. Thanks so much to Mark and team for sharing a behind-the-scenes look at these tournaments.
In the Greenville Cup, Red Wolves Hurling Club took the win in the hurling, and Atlanta won in the camogie.

Upcoming Hurling Tournaments
Looking to get started with hurling or camogie this June? Here are a few tournaments to look out for:
June 17 – Indianapolis GAA will host the Indy Invitational, which is one of the largest Midwest hurling tournaments.
📍 Indianapolis, IN
June 18 – Montreal Shamrocks will host their fourth annual Pride Game Day Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament registrations will be donated to the LGBT community in Montreal.
📍 Vanier College, Montreal, QC
July 24-28 – Clubs all of the world are preparing for the 2023 GAA World Games. This will be the largest GAA World Games to date with 2000+ players from 100+ competing.
📍 Derry, Northern Ireland
