New Club
In new club news, there is a new club in Montana called the Glacier Hurling Club.

2024 Indy Invitational
In Indiana, 300 players from the USA and Mexico competed in the Indy Invitational on June 15th. This is North America’s largest full sided tournament outside of the USGAA Finals.
Indy GAA used some impressive marketing techniques to bring spectators to the tournament including two billboard advertisements on Interstate 465. They also made promotional coasters, yard signs, and ran ads on Spotify and NPR.

Hoagie Camogie Invitational
In Pennsylvania, Na TĂłraidhe hosted 13 camogie clubs for the first annual Hoagie Camogie Invitational. A combined team from St. Charlanta Cities (St. Louis, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Twin Cities) won the Hoagie Trophy.
In addition to the camogie tournament, local vendors unofficially competed for the best hoagie in Philadelphia.
North Carolina Tournaments
In North Carolina, there were 2 tournaments in June:
Charlotte Connolly Cup
Charlotte GAA hosted the Connolly Cup which featured hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, and a youth blitz.
Raleigh Oak City Cup
And Raleigh GAA hosted 6 clubs for the Oak City Cup where 15 matches were scheduled throughout the day.
Hurling vs Lacrosse in Cork
In Ireland, a hurling vs lacrosse match was held between Ohio’s John Carroll University and Cork’s Blackrock Hurling Club.
Hurling vs Lacrosse (Hurlacrosse) celebrates the similarities and differences of two cultural sports and brings the communities together.

Clubs of the Month
June’s clubs of the month goes to 4 North American clubs who took over our social media accounts for the Continental Camogie Invitational in Boston.
A special thanks to Lisa-Marie, Carolyn, Lauren, and Katrina for leading the Continental Camogie Takeover.
During their takeover week, they highlighted the growing number of camogie clubs in North America, and shared live match footage of the 7-a-side tournament.
Players from participating clubs were divided into 10 teams. The winning team had players from 5 different American and Canadian camogie clubs.
