Clubs of the month:
This month, two clubs took over the Play Hurling Instagram and Facebook accounts: Montreal Shamrocks GAC & Philadelphia Hurling and Camogie Club
1) Montreal shared their action-packed week as they prepared for the Eastern Canada GAA Championships in PEI. They live streamed a match, ran a 10k, were in the pride parade, and dropped a mixtape (well, got a meme made about them). A huge thanks to Jake for his excellent work during the takeover!

2) Na Tóraídhe shared the week leading up to the USGAA Finals, where they hosted clubs from across the USA and Canada. During the takeover, they unveiled their new jerseys, their camogie team participated at Nationals for the first time, and they started the #HurlingNearMe campaign. A huge thanks to Katrina Terry and Ciara Trainor for their excellent work during the takeover!

Video of the month:
“If there’s one sport that combines all of America’s sports, that would be by default America’s new sport.”

This film follows the journey of their hurling team’s development since the club was formed in the early 2000s.
Photos of the month:
This month, we had two photos of the month:
1) 98-year-old John Hunt, the Founder & Honorary President of Chicago GAA, brought his luck home with him to see Limerick become All-Ireland Champions 82 years later.
Video Sources:
2) Philadelphia GAA took this photo during the USGAA Finals, and I feel it perfectly captures the community and family side to the sport.
