St Joseph’s was first founded in 1995. In the early 2000s the club, uniquely in the USA, boasted two hurling teams, a Gaelic football team, and a Ladies’ Gaelic Football team.
Our club went dormant in 2002 but was revived ten years later. Today the club concentrates on hurling, and still competes as part of the San Francisco GAA and USGAA community.
We are a friendly community of hurling enthusiasts.
Some of us have been playing since our youth, some have taken the sport up recently. Our players live in San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and points in between.
